Cardiac health
Cholesterol and hypertension are two major cardio-vascular diseases from which the common man across the globe is suffering. Ayurveda addresses high cholesterol and hyper-tension through a change in lifestyle, diet and intake of herbs, which can affect healthy functioning of the liver. This in turn successfully allows proper metabolism of food and builds plasma, blood, muscle and fat tissue. Developing regular eating habits and eating times avoid the formation of Ama and amavisha. Exercise balances all the agnis and improves circulation. It prevents the formation on Ama. Yoga asanas and meditation are part of the Ayurvedic routine and when performed regularly prevents high cholesterol and hyper-tension.
